LogTag® ResQ - Upload Tool

This upload tool is built as a backup mechanism to help you upload data when your LT5GEO does not have sufficient power left. 


What You Need

Using the ResQ Tool

Step 1

Click the link below to download the program to your PC, then open it.

 

LogTag® ResQ 

 

When you open the software, it will check your internet connection and connectivity to LogTag® Online.

Step 2

Connect your LT5GEO logger to your computer with a USB-C cable.

The data will soon start downloading.

 

Important: Please do not disconnect your logger while data is downloading.
Step 3

Once the download is complete, your data will be available on LogTag® Online shortly. To view your data, select the shipment or location that your logger is assigned to.

 

Open LogTag® Online 

Troubleshooting

Internet Connection Icon

Red WiFi connection.png

What it means: The PC cannot connect to the internet.

How to fix it: Check that your PC is connected to the internet, the LogTag® ResQ tool will periodically check the connection.

Cloud Connection Icon

Red Cloud connection.png

What it means: The PC cannot connect to LogTag® Online.

How to fix it: Talk to your IT team to check that any firewall or network security software allows connection to LogTag® Online on port 18885,  the LogTag® ResQ tool will periodically check the connection.

Logger Not Detected

What it means: The LogTag® ResQ tool cannot detect the connected LT5GEO logger.

How to fix it: Use a quality USB-C cable, confirm the cable is fully connected at both ends, then reconnect the logger.

Download Interrupted

What it means: The logger was disconnected or communication stopped before the data download completed.

How to fix it: Reconnect the logger, keep it connected, and run the download again.

Shipment Setup in LogTag® Online

What it means: Your LT5GEO will need to be attached to a Shipment on LogTag® Online to view your data after download.

How to fix it: If your logger is not already attached to a Shipment, watch the video below and follow the steps in Chapter 5 - Creating a Shipment.
